Meet Nia Saint-Levon, the woman behind RedevelopHER
Hi, I’m Nia Saint-Levon, the Founder and CEO of RedevelopHER. I’m deeply committed to helping women establish strong, holistic foundations that support their growth in life, business, and beyond.
Rebuilding your life is challenging. The demands of being a woman, partner, mother, friend, and businesswoman can be draining—especially when you're doing it alone, particularly during and in the aftermath of a toxic relationship. Navigating the mental toll and emotional scars while juggling everyday responsibilities adds another layer of difficulty. It can feel overwhelming, but it's important to remember that even in the hardest moments, strength and resilience can emerge.
As a mother of four, disciple (follower of Christ), survivor, thriver, and multi-entrepreneur, I’ve faced some of life’s toughest seasons. From growing up as a fatherless daughter, struggling with low self-worth, and searching for identity and love, to becoming a teen mom, raising my children on my own, doubting my faith, enduring narcissistic abuse and domestic violence, becoming homeless, and losing my business—I’ve experienced it all. Despite these challenges, I rebuilt my life and business from the ground up. I know what it’s like to feel lost and afraid, drained and overwhelmed, broke and broken—carrying a void that feels like a black hole in your heart, unsure of where to turn.
I’ve been where you are.
I've struggled with self-doubt, not knowing my worth, and feeling disconnected from my purpose, my family, and from God. I've also dealt with relationship turmoil, burnout, and being undercapitalized—all while trying to keep it together without the right support or guidance.
After experiencing abuse from a partner who suffered from bipolar disorder and narcissistic personality disorder, I refused to let that stop me from becoming the woman God intended me to be. Despite the hardships, I found strength and purpose in my desire to help others, especially those who suffer from intellectual disabilities. I was reminded of the scripture, Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." and Psalm 82:3-4
"Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.", which inspired me to dive into the homecare business. I began assisting and supporting clients with disabilities, providing them with the care and dignity they deserved.
From experiencing homelessness and having to close my boutique, to working as a home care provider—and eventually stepping into roles like Operations Coordinator, Office Manager, and HR Coordinator at a home care agency and group homes—I came to realize that God was planting seeds for my future all along. I wasn’t just rebuilding my life—I was transforming it.
These positions became steppingstones, giving me invaluable skills, insight into the home care industry, and the ability to recognize the gaps in quality care. That experience not only solidified my purpose but also ignited my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to create something greater. It ultimately led me to founding St. Levon Haven, my own home care agency, where I continue to fulfill my calling—supporting individuals with disabilities and ensuring they receive the best care possible.
It is through my experiences—both painful and empowering—that I learned the importance of building a life on a solid, unshakable foundation.
As I continued to build St. Levon Haven, I realized that for my clients with disabilities, having a safe, accessible, and supportive living environment was just as crucial as the quality care they received. Drawing on my background in real estate, I began securing properties specifically designed for my homecare clients and for women escaping toxic relationships—women who are ready to rebuild their lives, yet still have a heart to care for others. These properties are more than just homes; they are safe spaces where both clients and women in transition can thrive, live with dignity, and receive the care and support they deserve. Through this holistic approach—combining homecare with housing—I’ve been able to offer truly comprehensive support to those who need it most.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Success in life, home, and business begins with a strong, stable foundation. Without one everything we build is at risk of collapsing. Whether in our personal growth, relationships, our roles as mothers, homes or in our businesses, a solid foundation is the key to thriving—not just surviving.
The key takeaway is that despite experiencing deep trauma, I’ve gained the strength, wisdom, and tools to rise above it. I went from feeling completely broken—crying out to God for restoration—to overcoming homelessness, becoming a thriving businesswoman, and transforming from a victim into a survivor. This transformation led to the creation of RedevelopHER My story isn’t just one of hardship, but of transformation, empowerment, and the power of building a solid foundation—emotionally, spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, and financially.
My experiences—both painful and empowering—taught me that I wasn’t just surviving; I was evolving. I discovered that every hardship can plant the seed of purpose.
Now, I help women like you break through the barriers that have held you back—just as I did. I’m here to guide you as you rebuild your life, brick by brick, and transform your pain into power and purpose.
